Pentadeca Arginate

Repair & healing

Also known as PDA, BPC-157 arginate

BPC-157 supplied as an arginine salt. The same peptide, not a new molecule.

Read this first
Searching PubMed for 'pentadeca arginate' or 'BPC-157 arginate' returns zero results. The marketing claims of 90% oral bioavailability and 1000-fold greater acid stability have no published study behind them. Separately: 'Pentadeca' and 'Pentosan' are unrelated, Pentosan Polysulfate (Elmiron) is an FDA-approved sulfated polysaccharide for interstitial cystitis, not a peptide.

How it works

Identical peptide sequence to BPC-157. Every mechanistic claim made for it is transplanted from BPC-157 rodent work; no study has ever been performed on the arginate salt.

Shape of a single dose, modelled as one compartment with first-order absorption. The peak is normalised to 100% because bioavailability and volume of distribution are not published for most of these compounds.

Taken from BPC-157 animal data. No study of this salt form exists.

Doses

Community protocols only. No registered human trial of PDA exists.

Side effects

  • No human safety data or toxicology exists for this salt form.

Cautions

  • The same considerations as BPC-157.

Status

Not approved. Note that the July 2026 FDA advisory vote covered BPC-157 free base and BPC-157 acetate. The arginate salt was not what was voted on.
